I've seen one comment that seems to indicate that a typical charger connecting the cigar lighter to the tab does not charge the device when it is in use. That would support my recent experience when I used an app on the Tab to satnav a journey. (Tab can be a fantastic satnav on the dashboard) After about 4 hours of permanent, high intensity screen use, the battery in the device died. I'm pretty certain that the charger was working as the indicator light remained on throughout. I would have expected there to be sufficient power from the car to the Tab to maintain the battery while in use?
Anyone have any experience or knowledge to add?
Has anyone experienced an in-car charger affecting the radio when you scan for channels? On the same trip I couldn't tune any of the usual local or national channels and finally thought to unplug the charger - lo and behold the radio worked fine! Must have been radiating a frequency of some sort?
Of course I might just have a naff charger!
